How to check in at a coworking space
Your Kosmonaut pass gets you into every coworking space in the network. Checking in takes a few seconds: find a space that takes your pass, scan its code at the desk, and pick what to use. Here's how it works.
1. Find a space that takes your pass
Open Spaces to see the list. Every card shows what you can use at that space under Accepted here.
- Kosmonaut pass badge. If you see this badge, the space takes your pass.
- Voucher badges. The small icons next to it are vouchers from your wallet that work at this space, such as free exploration visits.
- Pass filter. Tap it to show only spaces that take your pass. The bar above it shows how many locations that is and how many visits you have left this month.
2. Or find it on the map
Tap Show map to see the same spaces on the map.
- Kosmonaut logo on a pin. Spaces that take your pass have a small Kosmonaut logo at the top right of their pin. Pins without it are in the directory, but your pass doesn't work there.
- Check in. When you get to the space, tap Check in at the bottom of the screen. The button is on every screen, so you can tap it from anywhere in the app.
3. Scan the space's code
Point your camera at the Kosmonaut code at the front desk. The app reads it automatically.
If the camera can't read it, type the code printed under it (it starts with KN-L-) and tap Use code. If the desk would rather scan you, switch to My code and show them your screen.
4. Choose what to use
The app shows everything you can use at this space, like a visit from your monthly pass or a voucher. Tap Use next to the one you want.
Anything in your wallet that doesn't work at this space appears greyed out at the bottom, so you can see why it's missing.
5. Wait for the desk (some spaces only)
Some spaces approve every check-in at the desk. If this one does, you'll see Waiting for the desk while your request is with them. Keep the screen open. It updates as soon as they approve.
Nothing comes off your account until the desk approves. Changed your mind? Tap Cancel request and start again. The request also expires on its own after a few minutes.
At spaces that don't need approval, the app skips this step.
6. You're checked in
When you see All set, you're checked in. The screen shows what you used, where, and how many visits you have left. A check-in is valid for the rest of the day, so you don't need to scan again if you step out.
Tap Done and get to work.
Where to see your past check-ins
Tap My pass at the bottom of the screen and scroll down to Visit history. Every check-in you've made is listed there.
